Priority

why is it that there is great civil unrest in Kenya, and they are killing each other by the truck loads, and half a million people have been displaced from their homes . . . yet the top story is about the death of an actor.

don't get me wrong. i think what happened with heath ledger is sad. but what is sadder is that our priorities here are misplaced on the fame of hollywood, rock stars, and political candidates, rather than on the real world issues of freedom in other countries, issues in our own country, and what we are going to do about real world problems like aids, slavery, and the continual loss of youth.

Hey Katie, please try to be tolerant with the media. They're trying to do their job which is to give coverage to the news that most people want to hear. There are a few who care about what's going on in Kenya, but those are mostly the ones that wonder how would it be to be like Jesus. All others just wonder is there really was a Jesus.
By the way, I don't go to church either.

Thanks... I saw you recent blog on Heath Leadger. You are so right about how America's priorities are misplaced... Even the who drama with Britney Spears... Should this young lady lose her life then I would blame the American puplic!!! I happen to be flipping thru the channels one day and caught a clip on TMZ. They were chasing after this singer while she was in the park with her child... These people need to be left alone. We don't need to know everything about these Hollywood Actors...
